What's FBC Gunter Like?
At FBC Gunter, you will encounter a warm, friendly community of faith, engaging worship, relevant, life changing messages, and a safe encouraging environment for your children. Small group bible studies begin every Sunday at 9 a.m. and are corporate worship service begins at 10:15 am. We look forward to seeing you at FBC Gunter.
What should I wear? We are not a church that is concerned with outward appearences. We want you to feel comfortable during our worship gathering. Our own pastor always preaches the Texas way--in jeans & cowboy boots! We do not have a dress code, we want you to come as you are and experience the life changing grace of Jesus Christ as you worship with us. Most of those in attendance wear casual attire, however you can dress as you like. We would rather you focus on God than on your clothes.
Where do I go? FBC currently meets at 99 Gentle Creek Lane just north of the town of Gunter. Upon arriving at our facility, you will be warmly welcomed by our community at our Welcome Center--located through the double doors under the outdoor awning. At the Welcome Center , you will be provided with information about our church and people will be glad to direct you to age appropriate bible study class or our worship center.
What should I do? After visiting the Welcome Center and dropping off your little ones, you will either be directed to the worship service or to an age appropriate bible study if you come at 9 am. On the way, stop by the hospitality table for juice or coffee, and the opportunity to meet some members of our church family.
Our Promise: We will do everything we can to ensure that you feel welcome and comfortable while you are our guest. We will not put you on the spot, ask you to pray or speak publicly, nor embarrass you in any way. Our desire is for you to have a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.
What do you have for children? At FBC Gunter we care about families and love children. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and biblically focused environment in which children of all ages can begin their journey of developing a Christlike character. All children's workers have submitted to background checks and received thorough training with regard to their specific area of ministry. Additionally, our children's ministry always has at least one person on hand trained in first aid. Safety is of the utmost importance. We are also very careful to monitor security. If you drop your children off with our children's ministry, you can join our worship service knowing that your children will only be released back into your custody.
